Entering Radio Security Code On A 1993 Previa

Hi, I know the code but unfortunately don't know how to enter it. Can anyone help please? The car's an early 1993 Previa with a radio/cassette. Thanks.

Hi, I don't have the original unit in my 1992 Previa anymore but I do remember having to do this so I looked it up in the owner's manual....

1/ Make sure the radio is off and the ignition in ACC

2/ While holding "1 PROG" and "6" buttons in push and hold the "PWR.VOL" knob until "SEC" appears on the display.

3/ Press the "1 PROG" button while holding the "TUNE (REW FF)" button in "---" should appear on the screen.

4/ Input your number by pressing "1 PRG", "2 (APS)" and "3 (RPT)" buttons repeatedly. (If the first digit of your code is 3 you need to press it 4 times etc etc) If the display returns to "---" try again.

5/ With your number on the display press the "SDK" button and hold it until SEC appears on the display. SEC will go off to indicate it is set.

Once the system is set SEC will appear each time the ignition goes to ACC.

I recall it took me a few goes to get this procedure to work.

Thank you for all that research. My radio must be different as it hasn't got an SDK button. Hopefully it'll help someone else.

So I searched online yet again, and found this website. If you select the model number, and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are the instructions to input the code! So I'm up and running. Thanks again.
