Yaris Cd Console

Right bit hard to explain but hre goes...

When i bought my car the bloke before me who had it installed a JVC head unit in the compartment below the factory fitted CD player...

Does anyone know if there is a panel that i can fit to block out the standard CD player as it doesnt look too good.

Or any other ideas??

hello.

unforunatley the only way to do it, is to take the dash apart buy a new fascia from toyota (about £38)

an adapter from halfrauds (£25) and fit that instead

i did it last weekend and to be honest it was a bit of a !Removed! to do so unless you really want to do it i wouldnt bother with the hassle.

on the other hand now ive done it, it does look wicked..

You want to order this part number from Toyota "55406-52010-B0" and to order this number "FP-11-03" from your local Halfords.

Although there is a cheaper alternative on eBay EBAY LINK

Thank You, Should be quite easy to get the part seeing as my bloke works for Toyota :!Removed!: !! I have been thinking about posting up about this for ages but never gotten round to it, Just with the shows and things coming up I wanted to get everything looking niceR!! :) And that bit in the middle really does my head in

I'd deffo recommend doing it as the cd player below another cd player looks pretty tacky to be honest! Took me a few hours to sort mine out but as said above, it does look sooooooooo much better!
