Hi!

I wonder if anyone can help me? I've got a 95 ST202 JDM Celica with some severe knocking from my front offside shock and i'm looking for a replacement part. Because it's superstrut I'm having a total nightmare finding one. Can anyone help? Cheers, Linzi.

Is it defo the shock, clunking could be from the figure of 8 bushing.

i priced up lower arms and figure 8 for my st205 a few months back dealership wanted around £800 and that was cost plus 10% just for parts.

i got them from http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/home.htm and it came to just over £600 for both arms and fig 8s including £35 shipping to my door genuine parts,

if you need anyparts get a price from both. glad i did saved around £200.

Yeah it's def the shock - there is grease all up the damper so a seal has definitely gone! I've finally managed to get hold of a couple of shocks and fig 8s so the whole lot will get sorted...now gotta replace them not sure where to start...and MOT is soon!

Would you hazard a guess at replacing the ball joints or are they less likely to be knackered?

No way of knowing without having a look see, if it's defo the shock why bother replacing figure of 8s ?? Money to burn ??

I wish...managed to get them chucked in with the shocks...
