2008 Satnav Update ?

Hi

Does anyone know if there is going to be a 2008 map update dvd for the satnav systems ?

I think the updates are every 2 years so there should be one sometime this year.

I think the answer to your question is part number TPZ485-X03EU-07. It is a three disc dvd 2007-2008 version 1 with a complete coverage of Europe priced at a whooping £169.41 inc vat.

According to toyota update site that is the 2006-2007 version 2 disk and is Euro 159 inc VAT

curent disk for prius is 2006 - 2007 ver 2

# 86271 - 53031

and thats the same as shows as current

I can confirm the latest is 2007/2008 V1, that's what came in my new T-Spirit which i collected yesterday.

Not sure why there are so many DVD discs in the box though?

You need to change the disks depending which part of Europe you are in so if you intend to travel across Europe you might need to change the disc once or twice. Europe Central Disk is France, Italy, Germany, etc; Europe East is Italy (again) and Eastern Germany, Poland area, etc; Europe North Disk is Germany and Scandinavia and Europe West Disk is UK (hurrah), Italy (again), France, Spain and Portugal. So in short, it looks like you'd only need to change the disk if you wanted to go to either Scandinavia or Poland, Slovak, etc.

Mine is V1 and the car was registered in October 2007 and is a 4 disk set :huh:
