Value Of Car And Cost To Restore?

Hello,

Wonder if anyone car help, i've been offered a toyota corolla GT coupe, for £3k. the car has had the arches cut and replaced, sills done, boot lid and the pockets are also ok, although cars in pieces and theres a engine from a 91 corolla coming with it. So the cars going to need resprayed, and engine rebuilt as well as new interrior.

This is where your opinion and knowledge is going to help... Does the car sound overpriced and what is it actually worth? And how mush would u estimate it could take to restore it?

Hey hi,

Dont no value as am trying to get mine valued, have paid for Glasses guide to do a valuation and the AE 86 is not listed. The reply was "its an import and they only do uk spec cars ! (got uk bill of sale !)If its got an mot about £200- £300 and may increase if it has a long tax ??????" This is now causing me a problem as I want to value it for insurance. So sorry dont know value but what ive seen, if bodywork ok and you have got time to restore buy it as they dont seem to be going down in value just up, just dont ask Glasses guide.

Hard to say what they are worth but i know a guy who has parted with £7000 :o sterling for a restored 1985 C registerd black twin cam. Mad you might think but it makes me smile as my twin cam is getting the works at the miniute so its gotta be worth that much to me when its finished. :) P.S Its costing near half of that to get it done :(
