Best Tyre Pressure

Hello all,

I have just replaced my tyres with four Conti Premium 2's (following some advice on here) and am wondering what the best pressure to inflate them at is - given that the pressure affects wear and fuel economy. The manual suggests 32psi at speeds under 100mph and something in the order of 41psi for speeds over 100mph. On the basis that I do a fait ammount of 'A' road driving and like a bit of lift on occasion I have inflated all four to 34psi. Any thoughts on whether this is sensible or what the best number is??

its not an easy one! i keep mine at 32 even though i do go over 100 now n then but not usually for long periods - the only time i would inflate to 41 if i lived in germany!! i would stick to 32 as going over that will probably affect handling in an adverse way at A road speeds?
