Newbie Says 'hi'

ive just brought my first Rav 4,its a 2001,5 door 2.0 petrol gx in silver grey and im delighted with it,ive just spent the weekend driving round my local area of Cornwall with various good sounds ie foo fighters,led zep etc blasting out and im very happy with my purchase!

Now i have one of my own i am noticing other Rav 4 owners out and about and wonder if it is common for us to acknowledge each other on the road as everyone so far has looked over at me! it may be because of my stunning good looks but as my wife kindly pointed out that was unlikely but it was more likely that as ive been grinning like a cheshire cat since collecting my car they are probably wondering what the hell is up with me!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

In the 14 years I've had my RAV, I suppose we do acknowledge each other to some extent - it varies where you are. I hope you enjoy your 5 door, but at least its petrol...!!

I'd stick with your stunning good looks though - improves the self-esteem! Just be careful that you don't overdo things and yer wife grounds ye!!
