Aparently it’s been around for a while too.

Looks like a much pretty good investment.

big gains! think supercharged set-up suit engine better. i think you might have to loose some lift, there would be a huge boost increase when lift kicked in!would prefer supercherged set-up and keep lift - why did tte smooth it out?

Put 100 more hp through the engine without any serious strengthening and i would b suprised if it lasted two weeks.

When i spoke to silverstone performance they said 250bhp was a safe limit for the corolla. plus wth fwd it would be hard to get all that power down.

I cant belive you will be bothered about losing some lift!!!

You will get more kick than the lift for longer off the turbo i wont be bothered if the lift was lost alltogether a turbo is alot better than lift its there when ya need it and not at 6200 rpm.

Dont get me wrong the lift on our engines is good but not as good as it will be with a turbo on.

will have to speak to the wife lol.

yeh but wont u get turbo lag ? surely the turbo is going to kick in at a set point like lift does ?

yeh it may be a better kick but also will see your petrol gauge go down twice as fast maybe ? i dont know a lot about cars so i may be wrong! :)

me i would rather have lift engage at 5000 rpm and then the car would then be perfect, but i would be very interested on how it goes if someone got this turbo kit :)

its all about the lift!! i would prefer the supercharger set up - is it prolex? doing it with greddy ecu - loads of power and keep strong lift. turbo at 3500 then lift at 6200 - be way too hectic. my misses is all for it - wont give me the money though lol!!

an LSD an the like would obviously be on the menu for an upgrade like this. I was looking on a forum and a few matrix and corolla xrs owners have this and they seem to be running just fine.

I wouldnt actually buy one of these or a supercharger, as if I wanted a car with a turber or s/c i'd buy one with it factory fitted. Just something for the people looking into upgrading.

i think the car has a lot to give before a big power hike is needed. it doesnt make the most of what it has now. i think your spot on - but an lsd should be high on the list before anymore power - double the traction off the line, faster cornering. only once i had well sorted the car would i consider doing loads off overtime for s/c. i like to do one thing at a time and appreciate. nothing wrong with dreaming though!
