New 3rd Gen Owner In Spain.

HI,

Having just bought a 3rd Gen surf 3.0 TD, I promptly drove it to my home in Spain (faultless all the way aprt from a shunt in the back on the M30 in Madrid..Dont worry!..The skoda Fabia suffered all the damage..the Surf didnt flinch!

Anyway, if anyone knows where I can get a set of LHD headlights from,. thats a start and also, I want to put on some AT tyres, and the Cooper Discoverer ST look promising but I only have had BFG ATs before on my Defender so not familiar with the Coopers....any experiences of these?

I will be selling a set of Firestone Wilderness LE with loads of tread as soon as the new tyres are on...if anyone is interested.

Thanks for that too, very helpful...there are some in the states too for 40 quid on eBay but then there is shipping to consider so the UK option is handy to know....

Why not get the stick on headlight delectors that you are supposed to put on when you drive abroad, they are only £6.99 in the shops or on the ferry then you won't need to change the headlights

I thought of that too..but that is not legal when matriculating a vehicle, they have to be permanent!

Hi, I have just received the headlights from the states..so thats sorted. Have you imported your surf and matriculted it? Is it a 3rd Gen model and if so..what did you have to pay to import it?

I may be going for the Cooper discoverer st 140euros fitted etc..seem pretty good...
