Changes To The Rav 4 Equipment Levels

Just been looking on the Toyota website and noticed the changes. There are no visual changes, except for the XT-R which now gets a chrome grill, new alloys and a silver under run protector.

The XT4 and XT5 are now available "with a rear door without spare wheel and with wider opening", so imagine that's a can of filler instead of a tyre!

The XT-R gains cruise control, bluetooth and parking sensors.

Finally, the T180 gains a rear parking camera (about time too!)

Well that should make fitting one to existing vehicles slightly easier I suppose - as the part should therefore now be available and also assuming they haven't changed the head unit.

I bet the "official" Toyota camera is £££££££ compared with fitting an alternative sourced one (a la Darkside & JHRC) . I suppose we could ask Kingo to quote, just out of curiosity, if he's up for it?

Agree, the XT-R does sound like a good buy.

Does it appear that all Rav's will end up with a can of gunk instead of a spare wheel from now on???

Whatever next?? Run-flats??

Any change on engine specs for any of the range or does it remain the same?

Not looked myself, yet, but have the prices gone up at all? Or is that a stupid question!!

It looks like the prices and engines remain the same

XT-R is still £19995 for the petrol and the T180 is a snip at £27045...

I'd be very interested in the part number/price of the camera and whether it's easy to install in my '06 T180 ?
