Does anybody know if there is anyway I can get hold of a remote control fob or is there anyway one can get one fitted to my Hilux. At the moment all I have is the key to lock the truck (which was supplied when I bought the truck 2nd hand) making the central locking and immobiliser work, was there or is there a remote control I can get hold of at all? cheers

Hi Sparky

The only advice i can give you is... If you already have a system fitted to your motor then check for company names on the unit under the bonnet or under the dash, look up the company who manufactured the unit and seek answers from them.

Failing that, take your motor to an aftermarket alarm installer and get a new system fitted,, I had a similar problem when i bought my surf 2 years ago. I had a cat 1 (thatcham approved) system installed, sent the certificate off to my insurers and got a 30% reduction on my renewal

Cheers

Paul
