Worrying Squeeking Noise

Hi All

I've been having trouble with my car for ages now, but it's now developed a sort of squeeking revolving noise when driving straight. It gets worse when turning either way (higher pitched/volume). It increases/decreases in pitch and frequency as I accelerate and slow down.

It's all coming from the passenger side front.

I've attached an mp3 of the noise. I know it's not the best recording in the world but it should help.

It's a 95 GT 2.0 Import without the SS suspension.

Thanks

Mike

I could be completely wrong, but a warped disc could make a sound like that, so that the brake pads catch it.

When braking does the sound change?

No it doesn't change, only gets slower as it's turning slower. It could be the discs although I did have them all changed around 18 months ago.

I see, might be an idea to jack up that side and turn the wheel by hand and see if it still makes the noise. If so have a look to see if anything is catching. Rinse and repeat with the wheel off.
