basically you get what you pay for, but also you'll need a good mapper. is your celica standard? if not list the mods and i'm sure someone can point you in the right direction on where to go next

if thats all the mods your going to be doing to your car i wouldn't worry too much about getting it chipped, it won't gain you enough power to justify the cost

I hava a dastek unichip if you want i'll take £100 for it, youd need to get your car mapped for it though, not totally sure on what gains you would get but most N/A engines gain around 7-10bhp ish

im not just planing on that just after some idea's really have a few just need cash lol. i want more from it bottom end not just bhp. better acceleration, better mid range, more torque i know aboth the light flywheel and fast road clutch etc... im a machanic so i know basics just not sure about piggy backs

All i know about piggy backs is that they optimize the fueling basically. Anything you add on to the car to help draw more air you'll need to alter to fuelling to get the full benefit really.

you can also get piggyback ignition controllers for your advance / !Removed! curve- i thought the dastek did both? i know nothing about them though.......

as it's been said all that a piggy back will do is optimize fueling and allow you to advance or !Removed! your timing to gain the best performance but on N/A cars there is no need untill you plan on getting lots of engine work done, head porting and polishing, differant cams, modified exhaust manifold, the exhaust system you mentioned, if your wanting more low down torque you could start experimenting with different length intake manifolds, general rule of thumb is the longer the intake the better low down power you'll get but you will loose it up top.

just make sure the exhaust is no bigger than 2.5 inch as you will start looing power, probably best with a 2 inch system to help keep that low down power
