Helloooo All!!

I was wondering if someone could please tell me if any facelift rear bumper can fit onto my 2002 TS?

Are they expensive? Theres a couple on eBay but I am not sure if they are worth it, they are asking for about £60-70 delivered and are used with dents and scratches..

Thanks!

Ahhh i remember that thread.

Anyone know the cost of the diffusers, rear bumper and sides same as Armz?

i think armz paid £80 from mr t. get a facelift bumper with them already on. i've seen the ones your on about on eBay - if the mountings are not damaged and the plastic aint cracked should be ok. lil bit of filler before painting.

Cheers,

ITs strange because most of the rear bumpers don't already have them fitted on. Theres one on eBay at the moment that doesnt have the diffuser and but is already painted in my colour...

Hmm what should i doooo??? Advice please. ..

Haha. I think I emailed the same guy! It was the one with the side skirts. Does anyone else know why the rear clusters of that car are different to mine? Are there facelift rear clusters? they look more nice as they are clear ...

Hey there!

Yeah i got mine from eBay, i think 45 plus 15 del, he had another one which had a broken clip which he was selling for 40, i think he still has it. My one was slightly bruised with nothing broken. If you have a good bodyshop any bruises, scrapes etc can be sorted out and look perfect. The clips and fasteners on the other hand are not easy to fix, chances are it wont sit right after fitting.

Last time i looked there were a few still going, but around the 60-70 mark as you said. If they are local to you see if you can collect, that way you can save on postage as 60 was what mine cost all in.

As for the rear spoiler/diffuser check my parts number thread as there are lots of parts to go with it. Clips, rubber liners etc... I think it cost me 30 per side just the pastic main bits, and the rest was all the attachments and clips. Expensive but worth the end look.

Let me know if you need more info.

Also noticed your in London, if you are near Park Royal i can reccomend my local bodyshop who fitted and sprayed it all. PM me for their details if you want.

Cheers

Armz.

Hi Armz,

Thanks for your advice. Did you also get your skirts from Mr T as well? Can you tell me how much they cost (3door)? Ive managed to get myself front spoiler and now looking to complete the look all around.

Cheers mate.

I got the side skirts from eBay, they were originally from a seller who had lots of 3 and 5 door skirts going for 60 odd pounds. I think he's completely run out of 3 and 5 door now. I couldnt get the full skirts i have now from mr.t only the mini side skirts which were no good to me.

You can try various dealers and see if you can get one but it may be difficult.

Where did you get the front spoiler from? i ordered one from a german seller just a few days ago only for him to refund my moneyt he next day and said the mould/cast was broken and couldnt make any more. 90 all in which was a bargain, but too good to be true. I think i got a few quotes from other dealers for the front lip spoiler and it was 190.

Cheers

:D and its a genuine tte.... the best bit was the guy worked right to where I lived and delivered and gave my £10 postage back too!....so all for £41..

i guess i will have to wait for another eBay wonder..

i wonder how weird it would look with no skirts and just the bumpers..

dont think it would like right - facelift bumper with no skirts. been toying with the idea but gonna try skirts first as they seem hardest to locate for 3dr. still undecided about facelift bumper. if i had seen that lip you would have paid more than £41!!lol

Direct from Mr.T Drop Parts-King a PM.

It was 129.a few pence + vat.

If you have had your car on the ramp you will see 7 fixing screws underneath that hold the front standard lip on. You can do it yourself within 5minutes. Longest part is painting etc..

Cheers

You're right, it wouldn't look right. If you're getting the facelift bumper the whole point is to have the rear spoiler diffusers, completely changes the look of the car and widens it. The sides of the car would look to skinny and half done. You would need side skirts at the same time. The only way you can get away with adding anything to the car without major mods of looking odd is the front lip spoiler, and TTE grill of course. If you want the lines to follow through then add the sideskirts and facelift bumper with spoilers in one go.

Just my opinion. If i had the money and time and wasn't doing other mods i would have planned my TTE silencer and larger alloys and front lip at the same time as doing the side skirts/facelift bumper /TTE grillsetup.
