Hi,

Id like to know if it's possible to fit the CD/Radio stalk to a W Reg 2000 Yaris 1.3SR? I tried a search but couldn't find an answer. Would it plug into the back of the standard CD head unit?

Cheers in advance

If you are on about the Toyota stalk from a newer yaris, then no, the stereo makes are different. If you wanted one then probably better to get an aftermarket one with its own stalk.

Yes, I was "on about" from a newer model, according to Parkers they were introduced from 2003 onwards. I take it these are the phase 2 models.

On further searching the CD player facia looks very similar - with same buttons in the same positions but they're square, rather than round. The controls are on the steering wheel, rather than the column. So dispite the facia being the same, as you've said, the make of stereo is different - for example Pioneer, rather than Alpine?
