Keep us up to date with the tyres mate, after killing of the pzero neros i had to slum it and put on eagle f1's (4 week wait for the nero's) and to be honest they are'nt the best in the dry......suppose safe is the best term for them!

Seal P - The profile number is not a specific measurment, its a %of the width, i.e. the profile of a /55/ will be 55% of the tyre width: -

195/55/16's = 107mm profile (Original)

205/55/16's = 113mm

205/50/16'S = 103mm

Therefore 205/50 are nearer the size the spedo is calibrated to; of course the remaining tread and tyre pressures will affect this too, thats why manufacturers err on the side of caution and show a highter speed than your traveling.
