Handbrake Shoes

Hi all. Does anyone happen to know what size our handbrake shoes are? I need a new set and apparantly there are 2 different sizes listed at CAF. Not keen on paying dealer prices for brake shoes, plus the originals only lasted 21000 miles! So am going aftermarket but wondered if anyone knew the size for a 2005 facelift model? Cheers.

surely you can,t have worn them out there only used for parking .i took my discs of other week and cleaned rust of inner drums and cleaned all the handbrake shoes of and they are as good as new .are sure they don,t just need a good clean of cos they will look like they are covered in rust from what comes of the drums.

Yeah I know. However a stupid little toyota monkey once told me to drive with my handbrake up to eradicate a grinding noise from my brakes. Now my handbrake is really slack despite being tightened 3 times by toyota. They have had it in and claim the shoes need replacing!

did they adjust the cable if so it wants slackening back of and the shoes can be adjusted manualy through a hole in the drum .but the shoes and drums will still need cleaning .they rust because they dont get any use other than when parking that will be y he said apply handbrake occasionly to keep them clean while driving
