Apart from Toyota where else can you buy a OEM Toyota(or OEM style) keypad preferably as a uncut key(which i can get cut & then programmed at Mr T) ? i looked on eBay but lot of sellers got either lots of - feedbacks or ones on sale are 2nd hand that would need the key blade replaced, mine has trouble when activating it, buttons has to be pressed real hard if lucky, not sure if its worn due to age or need new Battery but it is the original key pad i got so i use the key to lock unlock at the moment. Or should i best go Mr T despite really expensive ?

Thanks if any one can help....

Can you take the blade from your old key and replace it in the one lets say you get off e bay? I done that with a ford before but that was a bit easier than this. Can see a screw on the toyota key, more than likely it dismantles to component parts, swap your blade from its and then get it reprogrammed. Its prob done by some special sequence with the ignition, was with the ford but sorry i don't know it. You'd have to have the spare key as back up

I can but trouble is ones on eBay may also be worn too & why people sell their old/2nd hand keypads rather than give all keys when px / selling their cars  not as though u get a fortune selling it...
