Im afraid to say that it is as you saw on the tv, but yes it doesnt make much sense

£9000 car, but spend £12000 on the things. Dont make sense on novas and saxos does it.

Each to there own, i'll admit a few years back i was big into the whole scene of cruising it was good then people could meet up and talk cars/show off what they had done to the car in a big retail park where we didn't bother anyone. A few years back after a bit of planning a good organizer  could get 700 cars in one location to meet up but now the police has clamped down on it so bad nothing much happens anymore. Plus with films like The Fast & Furious coming out everyone thinks there Vin diesel <_<

I don't bother anymore since i have turned to the Jap side there is plenty of well organized events to go to and i think getting older (yes i'm only 21  ) racing round and acting like a loon (when not on a track day) doesn't appeal to me personally anymore. Plenty of people still do it but with all the laws now relating to public nuisance the police have the power if your found cruising more than once in the same area they can impound your car.

I agree "back in the day" cruises were much better...

I still go occasionally.. brighton is good.. park up and chat cars to similar like minded people, thats what it SHOULD be all about...

not burnouts in novas and doughnuts in clapped out 325s.....

i thought it was pretty evident that those 'kids' on the show last night we're trying hard to emulate the 'before-the-race' scene in F&F...

'yea man, we da flexin' cru!'

ewwwwwww :help:

I think they are all a bunch of :censor: ossers!

They ponse about thinking that their mums fiesta popular plus with alloys and a bodykit is the dogs nuts.

I used to have a soft top XR3I and Tagged along to a cruise in Northampton a few years ago, and some waister was hooning around in a Astra lost it and flew out of control into the on lookers and a kid of 13 almost died. He is now learning to walk and talk again :ffs:

There is nothing wrong with car lovers meeting up with their motors and show off all the bling stuff...but park up and stay put!

Thats shocking! and sickening!

I hate it when people ***** around anywhere near bystanders, as the pillocks who do that sort of thing invariably cant handle the car proparly and it does go wrong.

I happens everywhere there is a crowd of people mate it used to annoy me no end when i used to go to them and it one of the main reasons i stopped. What has always baffled me is if the police didn't take such a silly stance on cruising and allowed them to go ahead if the land owner didn't mind but just keep a patrol car sat in one corner to keep people tw*tting about to a minimum then all would be cool.
