the whining noise is the supercharger you can hear its quite normal sounds great from the outside but does sound quite loud inside thats what i thought when i first heard mine.the noise was allways there but you couldn,t hear it because of the air box your now pulling air nearly directly to the supercharger.

As 215 says, the charger makes that noise anyway, you just can't hear it with the stock set up.

Mine went in for a service today so I put the stock filter box on as I have some warranty issues.

It was strange driving a 'quiet' car again this morning

The lift on a Compressor comes in at around 5200rpm which is lower than a T-Sport.

It is also very soft as well due to TTE smoothing it out.

Since I had my new ECU I can hardly feel it coming in

Thats the only gripe i can think of for my compressor.

It takes some of the yippppeee factor away. still, can't complain. Goes like shi t of a shovel!!!
