Hi, I hope one of you can help me with a problem that has developed with my Yaris. :crybaby: I have a 2003 Yaris T Spirit and a few weeks ago the steering column radio controls stopped working. At the same time if I press the mode button nothing happens, which means I can't change the time etc., or retune any of the radio stations. I have checked fuses but they seem to be ok and everything else is working. Any ideas . . . .

Fuse or relay may be gone. Have you checked the correct fuses?

There are some in the car and some in the engine compartment. Otherwise, it may be a faulty wiring loom or something. Does anything happen at all? The stereo come on? Do they operate from the dash controls? If they still work, it looks like a wiring thing, unless the column has a seperate fuse!

Often, faults rectify themselves if you remove the earth lead from the Battery for say, 15 mins and re-connect. Always worth a try as it costs nothing and is very easy.

Hi Thanks for the reply. I disconnected the Battery for a few hours on Sunday evening but that did nothing. I haven't looked at any fuses in the car so will check that out. The stereo does come on but I can't change any of the stations or get any response when I press the Disp button. I will add another post if I have any luck.
