I just imported a Prius 2000(NHW11 model)b grade 4 from IBC Japan around September and it came with a faulty Battery. I had to replace it at my own expence and it was almost twice what I paid for the car delivered to Dublin. Be aware that if something like that is happenning you have v little chance to recover your loss. I couldn't.

In the other hand the model you are looking at is the first generation( NHW10) and is slightly different in spec than the next model up( less performance) and the biggest problem is that it was design for Japanese market ONLY and to my knowledge there is no software in Europe to connect to your car if something goes wrong.

I advice to find a Toyota specialist and ask just to be sure.

Another ideea is to buy one that was allready imported -at least you can check it before you part with your cash. I would rather do that after my experience.

Good luck.
