Adaptor For Cigarette Lighter For Satnav

Can anyone help. I have a Lucida and recently bought a SatNav. But it won't charge with the cable supplied for the car.

Do I need to get a special adaptor and if so, where can I get one?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

/................................ cud be prob with lead .. try it in some one elses car if it works then its your cig lighter if it dont then its the lead ..you should get the cable for the sat nav when you buy it . if dodgy take it back ,,, demand new one ..but you can find some cig lighter cables in pound shops... also on Amazon ,,,and other web sites ..

I have a TomTom Satnav. The cigarette lighter in my 52 Avensis is faulty and when i asked the main dealer about this I was told it was broken because I had been using it to charge the satnav and it was not designed to do this. How else do Toyota owners charge their independent Satnavs like TomTom - does anyone else have a problem like this?
