How awkward can it be to replace Discs and Pads eh...?!!!?

Took my car into Toyota on saturday morning to get the discs and pads replaced all round as they were pretty screwed (AND MAKING STRANGE NOISES!!)...

Replaced the front discs and pads no problem, got to the rear drivers side disc and whilst taking it off knocked a bit off of the caliper (you know where the pin links the pads and the caliper together-??) :( therefore needed to purchase a new caliper as it is un driveable, sounds simple BUT...

Ordered it from Partco then they decided that they were going to base it on Surcharge or something where by i have to send the original caliper back to them to get some money back...But because the caliper is broken they wont refund the money which leaves me out of pocket by like 60quid!!

So just had to order the part direct from toyota for £140.00!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont know if you understood any of that i just needed to get it out of my system...

AND IM STILL WITHOUT MY CAR :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Moral of the story - Don't break bits of your car.

If you've broken the caliper sounds like someone must have given it a good whack and they just dont fall the bits, the part that I'm thinking of.

Nah it wasnt hit hard...i was there...but the discs and both of the rear calipers were awfully rusty so that had something to do with it...
