I have a 2007 Rav4 T180 I want to fit a USB connected Hard Drive into The Sat Nav Audio Player

Has any one else done it ?

Also any tips on dismanteling the radio head from Dash board

Lack of answers indicate you might be the first...???

All I can say is fumbling with multi-map printouts is my niche.

Dismantling dashboards is also an acquired skill!!

Maybe anchorman will tell you whether the manuals available online will be of help.

As Bothy has said, I'm not sure anyone has does this on their T180 yet. Anchorman has fitted an ipod connection to his car (you can see it HERE), but I'm not sure if you can fit a USB to the T180 :wacko:

I imagine it would be the same connection on the back of the radio as the ipod (I could be horribly wrong! :D )

The connection is via the CD multi changer input and the Ipod module has been designed to interface with it.

There are some electronics wizz kids here, shcm, Jim etc that might be able to advise. Getting the radio out is easy as the link duncs posted shows.
