I do not usually post in this forum (I own a Corolla) but I have a brand new Rav4 parcel shelf for Latest generation Rav (2005 - onwards) for sale.

The price is £45 delivered by DHL or £30 to collect from Longfield (near Bluewater shopping centre)

A very generous offer, although I'm not sure why anyone, having lost their original, would want to replace it with the genuine item!

The parcel shelf on ours annoys me every time I refit it. It is hugely overcomplicated and will only completely obscure boot luggage if the rear seat squabs are perfectly positioned. A really poor piece of automotive design.

When I eventually destrow ours out of frustration, I will make my own replacement which will work far better and be approx. 25% of the weight of the original.

No bothy, thats not a scooter rider in a parker coat. And no you can't have a 5 door diesel unless you can take a monumental amount of leg pulling about turncoats etc. No doubt in no time it would be fitted with a methane gas deltic engine or wind turbine or solar clockwork engine.

I've sent off a post to the landrover forum asking whether I can fit my 5.3litre Jaguar engine into one of their models....its too powerful for the metal of the RAV and the RAV doesn't have a chassis - mind you many landrovers don't have a chassis either (rust)!! One of their guys is doing the same thing...

They make galvanised chassis for LRs near to me but they are expensive. Trouble is the chassis then outlasts the rest of the scrap. (Sorry Steve, I know they have at least one fan).
