Hi Guys,

I Have a sat nav unit TNS 200 for an Avensis, 2001 - 2003.

Not sure if it fits older versions.

It has all brand new cables needed for installation and a brand new TNS200 unit.

No map CD, however I have looked on ebay and you can get them for about £5 -£10.

This is literally hundreds from Toyota but price is £150 and this includes delivery by DHL

I think you will find that price a little ambitious. TNS200 is an old unit now and not very desirable, as for the map CDs on eBay at £5 - £10, they are old maps, the new CD if you can find one on eBay goes for £70 plus usually and will cost you £120 from Mr T.

I think the price is right to be honest. For genuine Toyota unit (they are never cheap) and if someone wants to use this type of sat nav in their Avensis then it is perfect for them. The CD's I have seen the latest map CD's go for £5 - £10 these are of course copied CD but there is no difference.

I have seen the some units go for between £45 - £100 on eBay, they are used and do not come with all the wiring. I have all the wiring and it is all brand new. So I think the price is justified, however I am open to close offers from interested members.

What do you type in to e bay to bring up those cd's please? All i can find on there is old versions,newest one is from 03 which i have already

Hi, I am not sure if it fits your vehicle. If you ring your local dealer and ask them if TNS 200 is available for your car they should be able to tell you.

It does include all needed parts, you will not need to buy anything else (other than the map CD)

Personally, can't see the point of paying Mr T's price for the latest map CD as you can buy a Tom Tom for less money than the CD. Has postcode search on TomTom, colour screen and is totally portable. TNS200 works ok but is not startling.

Time Mr T got real and reduced the price of the CD to something realistic.

But, hey, if someone really wants a TNS200, who am I to argue.

Let's also not forget that if the car doesn't have the satellite receiver installed it simply won't work. I rather doubt that any Toyota supplied without sat-nav will have any form of receiver fitted for this purpose.

I know what you mean. I have a portable satnav for the car, but was just looking to get the incar one working (For a reasonable price)
