Side Exit Exhaust !

Im thinking of getting one but will it give me the same power gains as a full system like a power getter or watever or will it just look good lol.

You'd have so many bends and difficult bits in a side exit exhaust you'd probably choke the car to death on it's own gasses.

The fuji wouldn't work, it would probably scrape along the floor, don't forget there's not much room behind the sideskirts, height wise.

If you went for a side exit I doubt you'd end up with a backbox just a middle silencer, and the pipe coming off finishing with a tailpipe sticking out by the sideskirt/s

Several VWs (watercooled) have pulled this off, but keep in mind that you should fill the exhaust recess to make it look nice. And you won't have room for much silencing. Sidepipes are loud.

FuJI is a cat back system i beleive, best one out for the TS for power gains and noise :D

ive known of a couple of yarises with side exits. it doesnt really have lots of bends, just one bend then out the side. they are loud, they look cool. if your only doing an exhaust you wont be getting much of a power gain any way. if you plan on further tuning maybe the fuji would be better bet.

FuJI is a cat back system i beleive, best one out for the TS for power gains and noise :D

Fuji's only a backbox, which will cost you £360 from envy performance, but worth every penny.

They do have manifolds which will set you back another £150

and for a decat centre section it's something like £260, and for a sports cat centre section it's more like £360

For a full system it costs over £850, sounds the nuts, all stainless so it will never rust, and costs cheaper than buying a replacement exhaust system from toyota which will be similar money, when yours rusts.

side exit would be possible and they do sound awesome but you wouldnt be able to lower the car much if theres a lot of speed bumps around you, you`d scrape it everytime if you were decked on coileys for instance. as said you wouldnt be able to have a back box so it`d be a bit of pipe coming out the centre box so it`d be a little noisey. probably not as noisey as mine as i dont have a centre box with an rsr on the end which has one of the shorts boxes i`ve ever seen so not much baffle lol.

yes the fuji is good but god, by the end of the year eeeeeeeeeveryone is going to have one and they`re going to get boring and everyones car is going to sound the same.
