Braking System Very Bad

i need help. im new here. last dec 30 we had an accident. our braking system in our hilux miss function my father actually press the brake very hard in order to avoid the front vehicle that actually stop! :censor: a full stop. and after that we crash. i need your help? please. i needed your advice and proper mechanic to solve this problem. now my hilux is in the shop. now still repairing. what upgrade or kit will i put to my brake. our hilux had no (abs). hoping to your reply. tnx :( :( :(

A 2006 Hilux should have ABS, so are you saying that it's not working and if so the ABS light should be on in the dashboard.

A 2006 model from the philippines is not even built in same factory as jap or uk model hiluxs so hard to tell what to do. It may not have abs as a heater doesnt even come as standard on the most recent imports eg 2007-2008 hilux tigers from south africa and dubai.

actually all hilux model right now is design in thailand. for what i know is that our hilux is built in thailand. cause for what they say the first 300 vehicle was built in thailand. i really need your help in terms of braking system.

were planing to buy a prado. what would be nice a vx or a vxr?

our hilux has no abs. im bit dissapointed cause after a year the toyota philippines release the abs. it doesnt have a differential lock. please help me out to fix or either put some modification in my braking system

Since I went off road and one of the ABS sensor cables snagged on a stick...
