hi

my compressor just done 5,000 miles now but when do u service the car?? is it every 10,000 miles you service the car. but i just seen on the silverstone webiste it said:

Corolla T-Sport Compressor 5,000 mile Service

The manufacturer's service schedule for the Toyota Corolla T-Sport with the

TTE Supercharger fitted at 5,000 mile intervals.

it should say in your service manual that came with the car.

the t-sport is every 10,000 miles.

Mine has been serviced every 10,000 miles.

will just add that yes correct servicing in accordance with toyota is every 10,000 miles or a year if less milage covered

any ideas when should i service my compressor??

i always do an oil change inbetween services - would never leave oil for 10k..... especially semi like mr t uses. i change the oil myself then take to a garage when the book need stamping. good oil is still under £30 + £6 for a filter...... thats nothing for peace of mind. your not too farfrom me but your on the wrong side of the water? who you calling a storm trooper!!!!

I’ve contact Silverstone performance today and spoken to them about the service he would recommended me servicing the compressor 5,000 miles cos of the supercharge its need a oil + filter change. he told me the service cost about £65

do the oil change yourself mate - really simple...... but if you need any help when you take it somewhere for a service i take my own oil as its always better quality and they dont mind...... and when they see its the good stuff they see you care for your car and its usually resprecated.........£65 sounds right - normally £45 but i gather the supercharger has its own supply?

It is best to service the compressor every 5,000 miles, especially the oil change, I also do all the filters. Do the main servicing every 10,000 if you like, but at least an oil and filter change every 5,000.

The compressor does have it's own oil supply, one of the compressor pipes needs to be removed, this will reveal a nut, this nut is either the dip-stick or the filler hole or both, I can't remember ATM . Use the proper oil as Toyota uses for the compressor.
