Toyota Don't Have Computerised Service Info?

It's transpired that Toyota don't 'seem' to have a central database of service information. So dealer A has no idea what was done at the last service from dealer B Toyota Basingstoke don't have a clue what service is due, or what needs to be done. Conversely Mercedes and VW do, and Audi have since at least 1993 - different dealers know what was done, and what repairs where done. Unless Toyota only share that data to dealerships that subscribe that information?
