did you test drive the pre facelift one aswell?

(i heard the pre facelift understeers alot + slightly slower)

is it worth saving a bit extra for the facelift for the extra goodies?

i doubt day to day driving you would notice much difference between them?

i.e

lowered slightly

better flywheel for better acceleration etc.

better interior.

well I think I have a flat spot because I get the wheel bearing sound lol. The potenzas are *****e. I want some Eagle F1s like I had on the CTS :)

I'll post pics after a detail, so you can take the mickey lol

Ah crap! Well from what I remember on the owner's club changing the tyres can have a huge effect on reducing road noise and increasing grip so I'd say if I were to buy one again I'd definitely make that my first purchase!! Looking forward to more pics!

Definitely worth saving for the facelift CTR as it is for the CTS I'd say! The interior on the Premier (last) edition CTR is the nuts!

i have used potenza SO3's for a few years now and find them really good - excellent grip, last well but are very stiff. they dont perform when you get down around 3mm but thats the time to change anyway.

The pontenzas are OK, I'm going though the bends like normal and realizing that I'm doing 70+ and I'm like ***** :o You dont feel the speed as much in the CTR, it goes round corners like it's on rails, cant think what I'll be like with Goody Eagle F1s :D

I didn't drive the pro=facelift because I didn't like the front end, looks a bit dated IMO.

Wow! I bet that took a while!? did you get all the swirls out etc?

It took all weekend. From 1PM Saturday to 4PM, and 12PM sunday till around 3PM. I managed to hide most of the swirls, Zymol Glasur just puts the icing on the cake
