Hi, been a while since iv been on however just been working on the car.

I needed a bit of help for anyone who has installed subwoofers and amps into the car.

So far iv done everything myself and dont have anyproblems installing however i dont know where to mount my amp. I have to and one is actually on the subwoofer box itself.

I also have a power cap installed now which is up and running.

I wanted to mount my amps onto the back of my seats however when i tried i realised the back of the seats are metal and cannot be screwed into. Does anyone who has installed this stuff got a clue as to where i can mount it. anyhelp would be appreciated.

They are to fairly small amps also has anyone installed 6x9s i have the parcel shelf cut and have the Speakers in but needed help on how to neaten up the wiring and what brackets and stuff to use to hide the wiring.

if anyone needs help on wiring etc of non factory sound systems let me know as i can help you with installing power caps subwoofers and amps.

Thanks

It is possible to mount it on the back seats, even with having a metal backing., you just need to drill some new holes, but becareful, as i think there might be the seat belt built into one part of the seating.

Just drill 4 small hole, big enough to hold some self tapping screws and long enough to go through some 12mm MDF and you should be about to mount your amps and cap onto it.

Also, why do you need a cap installed, its mainly use for big amps that drives sub and such like, having a cap just to keep power for a few small amps, not really worth fitting.

Not much you can do here, just keep the cables running in a neat straight line and it should look tidy

Hi thanks for the advice going to try that today.

I used to have problems with when id play my music full on the alpine at 35 the headunit used to flash also the it would turn off from the excess power of the sub now that i have a better and thicker wiring the music plays on full with the power cap and the treble is intense and loud with the bass at a nice moderate level. I am now today going to try that and amplify more of my Speakers to the second amp.

will post picures of the finishd install everything is actually connected up at the moment but needs to be screwed into place now.

thanks again
