The MK1 MR2 standard wheel sizes are as follows

Rim size: 14”

PCD: 4x100

Offset: 35 -> 38

Centre bore: 54.1

Rim width were 6j on early "triangle" rims and 6.5j on the later peper pot.

Tyre size on the 14's were 185/60/14

If upgrading to 15's you'll be fine on 6.5j with a 195/50/15 tyre.

You will need to keep the same PCD and match the centre bore with a spiggot ring if oversized.

Our SC runs roadster alloys which have an offset of 40 and you can feel the car tramline somewhat on motorways. But you get used to it. I wouldn't go with an offset less than 35 though as the tyre/rim will start rubbing.

Also, I wouldn't go bigger than a 15 as you start to seriously compromise the handling.
