Drop In Mpg

in the last few months I have noticed a big drop in what i am getting with my MPg

up to recently i could easilt get 43 MPG but in the last few months i am only getting 35 MPG and i have noticed i have to fill up more often

I serviced the car (oil filters and plugs) but no difference

Possible problems i can think of

I had a problem with the oxygen sensor and had to get that changed just before this problem started. could this be in

Automatic choke could be sticking

Also the car appears to be burnign oil

have asked to garage friends to have a look and they can't see what the problems

Has anyone got any suggestions before i take it to a main dealer

I've noticed similar with mine.

I put it down to the fuel we're all using now - price goes up, quality goes down - as ever...
