i've been looking for a while - seems a lack of decent stuff is available although minor improvements are available. trd do pads for the runx so considering them if the same as ours - but 6 week wait at the mo on them? decent discs seem thin on the ground - tried the common ones in the past............. but if you want decent improvement? posted myself on the same and seems limited. group buy from AP?

my reccomendation is any brand of discs provided they are grooved. the drilling doesn't make so much difference.

and then the pad is critical. In order of preference.

1. Endless street racing pads from Japan (not E marked, so if you crash and the insurance people find out your screwed)

2. EBC Green Stuff. The red stuff takes a while to get going!

In that case I'd go for the deal on eBay and ask for the pads to be changed to Greenstuff or find a similar deal online! ;)

I've tried black diamond pads, they are 5h1Te, discs are okay though.

Also the other thing is crap in the brakes itself, every so oftne i give them a good clean, improves the bite.

iv just put ebc redstuff and ebc replacement discs on the wifes t sport, they are better right away and are a lot better when warm (going to try the green ones in mine when the pads are knackered not long now  ) but have been wondering myself if to get the same discs or try some grooved/drilled ones in mine.

by the way chris was at the toyota dealers near me last week and there was a nice compressor parked up, could have been yours if it was it was very nice are you next to a peugeot dealers and do you have a mechanic mate who did one to mercedes a while ago :D

I've not tried the red ones but was concerned that the ebc book says "not for road use" on them! Hence from cold i don't know what the bite is like. It also says they are quite hard so my discs would take a pounding.
