Hi

Please can anyone help me, I need to know what kind of oil to put in my D4D Toyota Avenits Diesel.

I went to a shop and the guy gave me 5/40 oil it did not say diesel on it but the guy said they were both the same now and compatible but would like to check before hand.

The hand book I have does not tell me anything.

Try Castrol GTD Magnatec, GTD Plus or high mileage if your car has done over 75,000 miles. If you want very expensive oil then try Castrol Edge Diesel. IT costs around £40. I always use Castrol oil.
