Been working on the car a good while now, mainly interior and i have yet to take pics i will be gettin the interior finished soon but for now need some suggestions on what to do outside the main obvious is spoiler and front lip.

However other modifications i was going to add small vents on the side of the car i dont want it over at all but i have an idea in my head a guy who works for toyota showed me his e12 and it was done up really well cosmetically it looked great and not over. I to am thinking of doing the same.

I was going to leave the back the same and on certain parts add carbon fibre in silver to small parts of the car for example the black part of the windows.... i will need to get a picture to explain what i mean but any small cosmetic suggestions no silly stickers or anything just body enhancements which are minor for now which i can put in after i have purchased the lip and spoiler.

so far i have changed my mats done my sound system steering wheel covered it well stitched it all round made it look sweet. Erm for now thats about it i want it the exterior looking like yours as i first got the idea to do my car like yours but i didnt get an sr which is a shame! but thanks for that your car looks great with the lip i want to keep mine original however the wheels i mite keep for a little while longer but wanted to get small spokes put these on as i got them extremely cheap at the time with brand new tyres.

Your car is the balaeric blue sr right i have a picture of your car on my desktop thought i would take some ideas lolol hope you dont mind but yea want to keep it looking standard no over bumpers and sorts. Will keep it updated on here.

lol, yep 17s they look good i resprayed them as they were quite badly curbed i havent even laquered them or anything but the dry finish on them looks good as they dont look over flash. But to be honest they were with all new tyres £140 got them off eBay just curbed really.

scratched but i refurbed them my self and they are better now.

I do have a bumpy ride though after putting them on because of them being much larger and being low profile.

first i got like a mouse sander from homebase and i sanded the all down not alll of it tho like the scratched parts mainly but eventually in long strokes not inside and out maing like the spoke and thats about it

i gave them a good clean after sanding and before sanding left them to dry and wiped them down with towels. After i picked up the spray paint from Halfords not the kit just the paint. If there are chips then i think u get metal filler and do it. fill let it dry and then paint but i didnt have any major chips i had small ones which the sander made equal.

I then put black bags around the tyres cut them open and just used a credit card to push the bag and bundle it up between rim and tyre.

Then painting wasnt to hard all i did was do it in a clockwise direction lightly and continuously round and round gently.

i just sprayed the whole wheel eventually and it actually came out great. I think after they dry lke that you should laquer them to get the shiny finish or glossy type finish but i havent done it and they look good but not as shiny. I am going to laquer them soon tho and repaint my calipers and laquer the calipers as they are not bright as i did everything in the matter of 2 days started the wheels sanding first day and washing 1 day then just paint. They dried quickly in the sun aswell in a matter of hours.

If you do your calipers get the paint you brush on as i think spray gets messy and just laquer it was really simple doing all this. I was suprised but make sure u follow instructions and so on. I didnt use primer at all either lol although i think you are meant to but i dont this about 3 months ago and nothings peeling off or anything so its great!
