sideways fun

who's enjoying the wet weather - i'm having great fun wheelspining, getting the car snaking along the road and going sideways round corners. thought it was great on sunday, i came off a roundabout onto a bit of dual carriageway with a golf gti trying to keep up, went round the bend accelerating in second, backend tries to overtake me straighten it up, into 3rd and i'm off the golf trying his best, but failing miserably to keep up eventually caught me up at quite a speed when i got stuck behind an old git doing 75mph. superb rear wheel drive entertainment, anyone else having this much fun?

I've clamed down a lot in the 2 after writing off a fair few of them including what was until October last year what was probably the most powerful Mk1 SuperCharger in the UK (still feel guilty as it was my brothers car).

The MR2 is a very responsive car to drive and great fun especially in the wet, but it does need some care and you do have to know your car as that bcak end can give you a few more surprises especially when you least expect them :)

they know someone that wrote off a modified supercharged mk1, and when you mentioned it i thought it might have been you. they aren't that common, and being written off makes it even rarer

Be careful! I owned three s-bodies (S13, S14a and an S15) before buying my MR2 and so felt pretty confident with the back end but it's still caught me out a couple of times!
