I`ve been reading about de-cat pipes on the forum, and my 1992 N/A came with it already done, but where do I stand at MOT time. The car is a J reg, and I think it should pass without a Cat, but will the tester know this- it`s obvious that a cat was once fitted- will he be upset that the car has been modified!

you should be ok, n be able to get away with it.

afaik cat requirements came into force for k plate models onwards.
