Engine Malfuntion Light D-4d T3

Hi,

I've had my 53 Corolla 2.0 D-4D T3 for around 7 months now - its done 61,000 mile 11,000 of which I've put on.

Three weeks ago I had my back brakes stripped and the handbrake adjusted. At some point when this was being done the engine malfunction light came on. They read the code and it was a crankshaft code. They reset it. Since then I've done around 500 miles - no problem.

Today I had the car in at another garage getting four new tyres. Now the lights on again.

It seems to happen whenever the car gets jacked and the wheels removed.

Anyone got any ideas as to what going on? Should I take it to Toyota for diagnostics? Can I safely reset the light - if so how?

Cheers.
