Is It Sad To Own 2 Avensis's

Hi Folks.

With the patter of little feet and all, car seats are becoming a real pain in the celica - apart from the fact they dont fit in the rear !

I love my Avensis Tourer 06. Want to trade celica in for something newer and more practical. Liked the Auris, but it seems to have a relatively small boot that I doubt will take a folded 3 wheel buggy (the celica only just manages this). Also, the cost of them nearly new (say 10k miles) is the same as the big brother Avensis. Surely the Avensis is the better deal to buy ?

Any thoughts/suggestions on what else to get?

Lexus IS200 if you want something slightly different?

Not as good on fuel as your Avensis, but still a Toyota underneath and built as solid as anything.

Or if you're looking at new cars then the IS250 or the diseasal perhaps, though unfortunately not available as a SportCross.

We are currently in possession of two Avensis. Or should that be Avensi? My first year French lessons spring to mind...now mes enfants conjugate the word Avensis, Avensi, Avensir, Avensons, etc etc!

We have a 1998 1.8 GS hatch that is the partners baby and shopping weapon of choice and I have a 03 2.0 T4 saloon and are very happy with both cars. So in answer to your initial muse. Get two. You know it makes sense.
