I love my car too.

It's got som quirks, but so does every other car.

And the little things I miss(ed) or didn't like

I've changed or added myself...

I am deliriously happy with my Aygo! I have no problems at all, its so much fun, so cheap to run and looks damn sexy (think I may love my aygo too much  ) :lol2: and am learning how to modify it a bit (and slowly)

i am always saddened when peeps are having genuine problems, as they are prob few and far between the ones that dont.

fantastic thread Anne WD.

Great car.

Totally as expected for a £7k car. A few rattles, as expected, and in the garagfe today for a wee fault - would defo buy another!

My daughter thinks her car is great.... having driven it I think it is nippy and has a lot of room inside for such a small car, I fit in easily and I am 6'4".

The only problem I find is that it is cheaply constructed but then again it is a car that only costs about £7500.... my daughter bought a Black with air con :)

After one year of ownership my wife is more than satisfied with the car. Faulty boot button when new, but no further visits to the dealer since apart from a service last week. Mid 40s mpg, £35 a year tax, £105 to service, £180 insurance.

110% satisfied... the Aygo has replaced the need for a man in my life!

Well, almost ;)

No complaints here, it's so cheap I can seriously consider the possibility of adding to my little family! :D

I've only been working at my new job for 2 months and already the 50+ colleagues I have all know the little blue Aygo is mine! My Kai is famous!

I've had my Aygo Blue from new for 8 weeks now & haven't had any of the problems (touch wood) mentioned on this site. So i can say i'm another totally happy Aygo owner :)

My Exact Thought Today:-

"I must say on the T.O.C. how happy I am with my Aygo".

Woke up this morning, went for a walk in the wind and sun..

Came home and washed the Aygo.

Carefully waxed it with Harly Wax.

Removed, Cleaned, Polished, Coppaslipped and replaced wheels.

Went out for a run in the sun and just thought how good it is for what it cost.

No problems yet apart from a puncture which couldn't be repaired when the car had 400 miles on it.

I still feel good about buying it.

I love my Hugo*

He does everything I ever ask from him and never misses a beat. Coming up on 17 months and 12,500 miles and I'm completely satisfied.

The only probs I've had are some eedjit nicked the "T" Badge off the rear and I've had two punctures- not exactly problems I can blame Toyota for.

I was working over Christmas and one morning was ULTRA Goddamn cold and icy. It was a pleasure to know I'd go down, stick the key in and he'd start first time- and he did. I think if I even won the Euromillions I'd keep Hugo as a general runabout, I couldn't bear to leave him!

*Yes, I'm well aware how uncool and camp it is to give my car a name, much less a lad's name! But he's so quirky and great I think of my car as a "He" rather than an "It". Anyway, must dash. Psychiatrist appointment in an hour... :P

Still love my Aygo, even tho it has just started leaking lol, hopefully get sorted soon.

Drives amazing and as said lots of room for a tiny car, slowly modding it aswell, alloys are next!

also: any Aygo meets happening at all? :D

I think it's cool to name your car. So far I've named ALL cars I've had (only four, but still...)

However, I did cive them "vehicle-names", not people's...

I refer to mine as 'Aygo' suitable name i think :P on a serious note i havnt thought about giving it a name yet, hate tryin to think of names for things :D

I wanted:

Character

Cheeky handling

Nippy

Good MPG

Feels like I'm going faster than I am.

Stripped down/basics

My first ever car was a Citreon Dyane 6. Loved it. Utterly. Awful handling and gears but the rest made up for that. If I felt inferior I would have bought a 3lt muscle car. Same goes for our choice of dog, a WestHighland Terrier. Hey, if I felt physically insecure I could also have bought a BullMastif etc! :)

I went to a Pistonheads meet today... car park had a TVR Chimaera, BMW M3, Mazda MX5, SportKa, Honda Prelude, Honda Integra Type-R plus my Aygo

I wonder who's car they were all gathered round? ;)

They had the bonnet up and everything! If an Aygo can command the respect of people like that then it's some car IMO! :D

My car makes me smile! :)

When I go to meets, people like to glare under my bonnet as they have never seen such a compact engine before :D and thats people with civics and celicas mazdas bmw's etc

I sometimes think the aygo is the best car i have ever owned. I would sell my children before i sell the aygo

We had a day out yesterday and decided to take the Aygo rather than my Audi. The Aygo pootles round town for most of it's life so though it would be good to give it a decent run.

I've not driven it for months, but it reminded me what a great allrounder it is. Did about 20 miles on the M62 including the hill from Brighouse to Ainley Top and it kept at 70 in 5th, I dropped down to 4th and it accelerated as I passed a few cars with no problems.

It then had to undertake some severe Pennine hill work, but even this didn't see it struggle. 2nd gear to 50 really helped - I was cursing the Sunday driver in front in his Corolla D4D who refused to go much quicker than 40 - the Aygo wanted to go quicker!

Another bonus is we did about 60 miles in total and the fuel gauge never moved!

Brilliant car.

I love my Aygo. It's nippy, fuel efficient, cheap tax, looks cool and I agree with SJ&Aygo, it's so damn sexy!

I got so annoyed at a friend who said it's not the best looking car he's seen... PAH! He needs to get his eyes checked... :chair:

overly i dont find the rear end of my Aygo attractive at all... looks abit of an alien!

but other than that, its a superb car! She's my second car and although the handling isnt as good as my ka (lowered), its still soooo much fun to drive! had her a month today :D
