Hi, was fixing some wiring problem with my cold cathods and I put my hand at the back of the headunit and it was red hot, is that normal, its a kenwood mp3 cd radio thingy(1st ever MP3 player), its was on for 1hr at volume 30(35 MAX)

yes its very normal its just all the electronics workin overtime

i can fry eggs on mine when its had a canning

itll shut itself down (or should do) if it gets too hot
