Verso T180 Roof Rails

Juust went to Halfords to get a roof box and roof rails--looked through their selection brochure and saw that roof bars were available for any "verso with roof rails fitted except t-spirit".

So as mines a T180 bought the bars at 60ish quid. Got home and guess what? Yep the fixings are not wide emough by about 3or 4mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So foned steven eagell for a quote @ £104, for roof bars for god's sake not diamonds, and also confimred with the parts manager that actually only t-spirit and t180 are the only verso with roof rails fitted....so Hally is being a bit naughty there.

Anybody found a decent set of roof bars that don't cost over a hundred notes??!!

I recently bought a T180 and needed roof bars so bought some Thule ones, paid 75 pounds, a little on the expensive side but good quality and I thought worth it (and very easy to fit). I found cheaper ones, about 50 pounds I think but they were a brand I'd never heard of. Bought myself a boot liner as well for 22 pounds, definitely recommended, stopped all the bits of mud falling down the cracks in the folded back row of seats :)
