Hi,

Recently I have swapped my original 15" wheel and 195/60/15 H88 tyres with Wolfrace Katana-2 17" alloy wheel and budget tires of 215/40/17 W89, which cost me £440 including balancing and fitting. After that I am facing some genuine problems of them.

1. @>30 MPH speed, it start creating jet like sound from the front wheels with slight vibration on steering, cluch, brake and gas padels.

2. Upto <66 MPH it runs normal apart from that sound.

3. @ > 70 MPH, The steering feels very light and the steering start vibrating a lot and this condition are worsening when you more higher speed.

I am tolally depressed.

Could you please help me!

P.S. The problem was not there with old whhels and tyres.

Have you installed spigot rings?

these sit between the wheel hub and centre bore of the alloys. Without them the wheel will not be centalised on the hub. Hence vibration.

THanks for the reply.

The T told me that he did fit with the spigot ring. Today I went to the garage where they fitted my wheels and told them the problem. They re-balanced the front wheels and you do't believed that the problem has been eliminated by 80%. Only very slight vibration felt on steering wheel at 70MPH and also steering not feeling that much lighter what was felt before. But Problem 1 ( Jet like sound @>30MPH still exists ).

:)
