Help Needed Please

Hi i have had engine reconditioned, have got it running but as soon as i try to drive it, it will not accelerate but ticks over great, i think it is something to do with vacuum control on butterfly valves. has anybody got a diagram of pipework and also i have a turquoise two pin plug that i cannot find a socket for THANKS KEV.

Hi Kev. Welcome to the forum. Is it a Gen 4, 5 or 6.

The plug you can't find a home for is it on the passenger side of the engine bay, coming out of the loom by the suspension tower? If so don't worry it's homeless.

Check all the vacuum pipes and then check them again. It's usually something simple. I'll see if I can find a diagram for the TVIS.
