Hi all, just thought I'd ramble on a bit on how i'm getting on with my new car B)

My previous car was a Peugeot 306 1.6 LX, very nice car but getting on a bit so i decided it was time for a change. At the time my ideal car would have been an Astra 1.8 VVTI SRi but 2 models which I had seen had sold before I could go and see them. At the same showroom they had a corolla 1.6 VVTI, looked really nice, but I wanted a bit more power. So I came home, logged onto Parkers website to see what the higher cc models were? Thats when I first heard of this VVTLI and when I read the performance figures....well :wub:

To cut a long story short, found a 5 door (2 kids you see) for sale on pistonheads, 53 plate, owner had it from brand new and had looked after it really well. Owner also had TTE front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and lowering springs fitted at the time of purchase from toyota, and all in mint condition.

But that engine, my god.......when you hit that magic rev....... :hokus-pokus: I know I wanted something a bit more powerful than my old 1.6 306, but this is really something. The feeling you get when you blast past boy racers in their tarted-up GTi's is wicked !!!

All round this is my ideal car as I have two children, 6 and 3 years old, and its a comfortable smart family car, its economical, its got the good looks.......but then it also has a wicked side when you want it to !!

I'm enjoying this car more everyday and look forward to learning a lot on this forum.
