Vvtli Inlet Manifold In 1.4?

I bought the cast inlet manifold from the celica vvtli in eBay for cheap (15 pounds).. The question is whether i could fit this in a 4zz equiped e12 corolla (on stock throttle body). Has anyone tried this?

Also, how many vacuum hoses connect to the stock plastic manifold?

and, directed to the celica owners, which is the purpose of the small hose at the plenum (away from the t.b. flange)?
