Alrite guys, jus wondering how 100% true is the above? Is the remus 100% same as the TTE exhaust?

If it is then im defintely gonna buy it as it is almost £50 cheaper... ;)

From what I understand the TTE exhaust is just a re-badged Remus

I thought the Remus badged exhaust had different tailpipes to be honest (i.e. rounded square-shaped pipes)

There is a remus exhuast that looks like the tte which y im wondering as people do say its the same one.

http://www.roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk/index.asp

part number is #905002 0506

Rear Silencer with 2 tips Ø 90 mm

Its number 6 on the tail type design

If it's #6 then it should be okay so! I can measure mine when I pick the car up or get someone from here to check theirs? I did see a T Sport with a different variety of tailpipe before though but obviously not Remus...

Thats it, cheers for dat mate...I still prefer the standard one for some reason, looks better in my opinion

If you like the standard look Magnex do a universal silencer with a slash cut pipe like the OE one for about £100 from Demon Tweeks

I prefer the twin tailpipes, more of a "sportier" look, and it certainly sounds loads better!!

they're quite meaty standard but I've had Remus stuff before and it always tends to rust round the joints because its not Stainless despite their claims, plus the magnex will sound and look better IMO, the twins look too Type R for me rather have a Blitz Nur Spec R single exit 5" tailpipe and comes out on an angle and points slightly upwards like mine will post some pice when I've cleaned and polished her.

I paid $240 for the exhaust and $150 shipping from the USA which is about ££200 and £100 for powerflow to match ot upto the cat in 2.5" pipework, mine's a bit louder than Remus etc but VERY deep so its not too boomy

Might add a couple but definately no more than 5 without high flow cat, equal length headers and a straight route to the back box

Yeah straight as in the pipework as straight as possible bends slow gas flow down, the Nur Spec R is a universal backbox so you can fit it yourself or get a custom exhaust place to make up a short pipe
